This little angry bird looks as though he has stomped all over the surface of this espresso cup…why so angry you ask?  Maybe the early bird actually wants ESPRESSO instead of a dirty worm [wink].  So for you early birds, come make yourself this adorable cup and saucer, as well as make the firm statement about your expectations in the morning!

The saucer is painted Red Blaze and then spattered with Black Lab paint by running your finger along the stiff bristles of a stencil brush.  The contrast of Red, Yellow, White, and Black makes for a very vibrant greeting in the A.M.!

One of our new pieces is a paint palette that would be an adorable display for your sweetie this Valentine’s Day!  It could be used as a dish to eat from or an actual paint palette if you have a creative guy or girl in your life.  The right picture is a hot plate with bunting painted on it saying, “I love you sew much!” This would be perfect for the wife or mom or sister that always ends up being stuck with the task of hemming your pants!

If you have any baby showers on the horizon, or if you have a little munchkin on your horizon, we have some new oh-so-cute items to paint for them.  My favorite is this alphabet plate and matching cup.  This is a piece that can make you look good because the letters are already embossed into the plate!  All you have to do is a wash of paint and then take damp sponge to reveal the letters. Easy!

The above pocket vase is also a very sweet gift for a little girl.  This piece has a pocket-like opening in the center that could hold flowers, craft supplies, a stuffed animal – anything for your little princess!

Celebrate being a plecia nearcticas [a.k.a. lovebug] this Valentine’s Day! Though lovebugs fill us with rage during the season in which they gut-graffiti our front bumpers, you have to hand it to these little rascals who stick together the way they do – whether in life or death! In honor of the lovebug [ladybugs, what-have-you], celebrate sticking together this Valentine’s Day! Come into the studio and love on each other with hand-made gifts!

Remember that we have add-ons [pictured above] that can add flare to your piece. Have a heart, or ladybug, or flower glazed creatively on your chosen piece…whether a mug, plate, box – add-ons are a lot of fun!

One of my personal favorites is the heart mug pictured below, which was inspired by Hallmark’s line of Fresh Ink cards.  In pointing out the sun, clouds, and flowers, it says, “Brighter, prettier, fluffier, happier…all because of you!”
